Junior Inter-Regionals 2022

This weekend 20 of our juniors attended the Junior Inter-Regional Champs in Northern Ireland.

The individual on Saturday and the Relay on Sunday both took place at Tyrella (used for JK2011).

In the individual race, Heather was 3rd on W16, Ben 5th on M18. Everyone got round and well done to Maddy & Rebecca running M16. After the individual event we were equal 5th with South Central.

Sunday’s relay started on the same range with a run up the road into the dunes. In the Boys race Heather, Rory and Ben came 4th and Austin, Ben and Emils were 9th (8th scoring team). Cecilia, Bors and Tommy were 25th. For the girls Maggie, Issy and Phoebe were 13th (9th scoring), Maddy, Alice and Ellie 18th and Rebecca, Poppy and Hanga were 20th. With 2 teams scoring per region we were equal 3rd with NW in the relay.

Once the overall scores were calculated we were 5th with 368 points, not our best score but definitely one of our higher ones. Well done to all the team and especially our W16s who nearly all ran up at some point over the weekend.
