The South East Junior Squad is aimed at juniors in the 14-18 age groups who want to improve their orienteering, train regularly with other juniors, have fun and make new orienteering friends. We meet once a month and sometimes have weekends away for training or competitions, such as the annual Junior Inter-Regional Championships.
Our last session of SEJS (online) looked at contours. After a 'is it up or down quiz' and a virtual course around Haverthwaite the juniors went away to come up with some models of a small local area.
This session we looked at sprint-O.
Virual SEJS has given the junior squad a chance to catch up, and learn something new from looking at maps.
Well this morning we held an Online SEJS with a record number of participants. A fun quiz and a bit of talk-o as well as chance to catch up. Another meeting is scheduled for a couple of weeks time so maybe I'll take some screenshots and you can see what we've been up to.
