SEJS Goes to Junior Inter-Regional Championships

The squad had a great weekend in Redcar at the Junior Inter-Regional Championships on 26/27 September.

Covid restrictions meant that organisation was left to the squads more than usual; SEOA travelled by train, which added to the adventure. The squad was a good mix of Old Hands and New Faces, some experiencing sand dunes for the first time.

In the Individual event, Scarlet came 3rd in W18; a great result. Luke and Vadim made the top 10 on M14. as did Tommy and Ben on M16. Ellie was 9th on W16.

In the relays, we had one girls team, with newcomer Alice doing well to get round, leaving us 12th. We had 3 boys teams; best results were 8th and 10th. Overall SEOA came 5th; a good result given our wide range of experience. Well done everyone. We're looking forward to next year's event in Northern Ireland.
